A genuine 'Strattons' converted AMG widebody SEC, but without the Hammer quad cam engine option, sold on ebay.co.uk about 3 months back for about 10 bags...
Just goes to show how much of the value for these widebodied SEC's lies in the quad cam engine....

Someone local has a real RHD widebody SEC with the four cam naughty lump. I nearly wet myself when I checked out the mill ! 
It was for sale for about 15k, a bit more than the £1500 I like to pay for a SEC

Colour?....I assume black or white?
This doesnt belong to a Mr Singh of some decription does it?
I know of 3 widebodies locally (Heathrow-ish area) all asian owned.... the above mentioned non quad cam widebody in white.... another white one that is quad cammed and a black one that i dont know of the engine's details....
PS: The owner of the white one also owns George Harrisons old W124 Hammer!

The blue turd is that mid 80s Merc dark metallic with , iirc ,black leather with the extra wood on the doors. The owner is a white bloke. I will try and find out more.

The additional wood cappings are indicitve of 'extra' AMG treatment from that period....
If the the well heeled owner went as far as the wood, the car is probably loaded full of other rare AMG extra's.... As well as the Hammer engine, there may well a Gleason-Torson LSD....

No news on the blue turd BUT I have found a tired red widebody locally! I will make enquiries asap

aftermarket shite^ my best friend has a original 560sec in blue, very classy motors, but apparently a very complicated engine to work on. Love them regardless, princess dianas fav car from what ive been told

And the Diana joke, if its in reference to what car she snuffed it in, it was an W140 SEL not a W126 SEC.
