Had a trip up to a fine part of the world yesterday - Sherburn-in-elmet - to visit one of our TBM's being overhauled and came across a red 2005 Seat Leon FR that the owner reckons dynoed at 368 ponies.

It did have twin turbo's on it

Is such a figure possible?

Yes easily possible.

I'm assuming it was a 1.8T? Im fairly certain that's about possible on standard internals.

I recently built a 1.8 20v engine to a 2.1 that was good for well over 600hp

I've driven one with 650bhp. Terrible power band and ultimately a bit scary in a TT. Nothing, nothing, nothing, woah, rev limiter...

Naff

Is that the one with engine in the front and engine in the rear ? I think may have been in Evo magazine years ago .... ?

No. Single engine at the front. It was stroked to 2.0 but it made no difference. Totally unusable.
