51 Plate 1.2 Easytronic Corsa........z12xe engine i think....

Whats involved in changing the water pump, 'er indoor's mentioned that her car is making a "Funny Noise"....Lifted the bonnet, and found water being spun around the engine bay, the bearings have gone.

I think it's just engine mount, auxillary belt then pump.

I'm sure it's that's easy. Haven't done one for months but I don't remember it being a pain.

I think these are the chain drive engines, so it's like TheHeap says, jack the engine up, take the engine mount off and it's right infront of you.

Yep, chain driven cam engine.
Is it easier to take the pump pully off while its still connected to the engine ?

Try and do it with the belt attached. If it starts slipping, find a way to put more tension on the belt and get it off. They're only some male torx bits if IIRC?

Engine mount and pulley fixings are male Torx...gotta go buy a socket set for them.
