the car is called Sooty :)

I have had my yaris Diesel for a year now :)

I used to be a well contributing member of YCUK, but i, uhh, had a fallout with the owner no less, so i guess im not really welcome there anymore, so am looking for a new home :)

well anyway, heres a summary of what my car has been through in its lifetime :)

Image

the day i got it, gave it a clean and some love :)

Image

then someone crashed into to

Image

13x7 import plates

Image

fabulous brows

Image

i did have a vitz badge but someone stole it so got a deceptecons badge for £0.09 incl delivery and sprayed my brows (by hand :P )

Image

dewiper and sticker mad

Image

i always thought this picture looked more of a mans car than a feminie car

Image

then coilovers

Image

guy on the left is the owner of YCUK's car, its nice! guy on the right was another mates car (he was about to twincharge it, it was a 1.3 SR too!), he sold it to his mate whos really looking after it and got himselft a P2 (like mine) t-sport with a 4-2-1 mani!

Image

whoring :P

Image

custom made maf adapter by cutting the tube off my airbox (tube was seperate to the box unit, so can be cut off :P ) and some ikea shelving golding it up and lots of cable ties ;D

Image

side on!

Image
Image

tuck!

Image

reverse banded steels trapped on jack :(

Image

smashed my windscreen so had to sell my coilovers to pay for it

then nothing for 6 months as a standard car again till -

Image

picked up a TTE front lip for a tenner

stickerbombed it

Image

18 sec QM

ill upload some more stuff tomorrow when i give it a clean :) i hope you like it, tomorrow im fitting my front TTE springs, might adjust the rears to go lower (with a hacksaw) and removing stickers that have kinda gone off!

thanks :D

You're in the wrong place, at many levels.

i understand that the car isnt a bmw, but in my introduction thread i asked if it was cool to post my workings of my current car (as i am planning on getting a e30) people said "yeah go for it"

so i did.

What a spiffing motor car you have there, I’ll have to be honest with you the E30 is a terrible car and I’m sure the other members on here would agree that you are going to be very disappointed if you buy an E30

Just wanted to be honest with you, don’t want you to waste your time and money if you plan to customize an E30 to the same high level you have gone to on your fine Toyota.

E30’s are nothing but problem after problem and they can’t drift to save your life & even the fruity models struggle to pull the skin of a rice pudding

I think your best bet would be to stick to Japanese cars, avoid being disappointed

Thanks for the appreciation!

I understand what youre saying about the e30, and that is your opinion, but to me i wont really be focussing on performance for a year or two at least! If a car is crap, make it good!

Well, good in my opinion, i only really like cars from the 80's and 90's! and yes, sticking to jap cars would make sense, however trying to insure them is another problem :P

The brows would be something you should be more interested, they are the only set outside of japan! i saw them and had to have them, they cost me £150 in total, which just shows i dont mind spending silly mony on parts i like :P

but yeha i would quite like an e30 touring and turning it into an old school style lowrider type thing! my girlfriend is into her golfs, and so is my dad (although he hasnt had one for a while now) but vags are for fags so im sticking with BMW's :)

£150 for eyebrows

saying that theres some OEM folk pay £250 for a e30 armrest, swings and round abouts :D

one major ball ache with e30s is the lack of reasonable price coil overs IMO, jap and Vag cars seem to be inundated with £300 kits :(

It's cool on the coilover front, Yaris owners are blessed with £550 (with the club discount) for a set of D2's or you can pay 750+ for teins or BC's.

really like the air filter, should be perfect for sucking hot air from the engine bay into the mixture, ideal for a reduction in engine output.

Sorry OP. your 'coming out' has not quite gone to plan.

If you post some pics up of your bird, with the Yaris in the background, if you must ,I am sure the hating will stop. Everybody loves a schoolgirl, sorry , I mean't a young lady in a school uniform :)

A bit difficult if he has his mouth full.........
I said sniff!... I took the precaution of putting a dog lead around his neck and securing it, tightly, to a post. One sniff and he'll be like a hungry tiger shown a limping deer..! :D

My local parish priest warned me to be careful what one puts in ones mouth, especially if said object belongs to a convertible* owner !

* Lots of the priests 'friends' had convertibles ! :o
