Uploaded with

Had to pull this off wiki as all the google image ones were modified.
But im interested in what american motors you guys think look the best. And please be open minded as i dont want to hear all about the muscle cars from the late 60's(dodge charger excluded as it was a work of art).

Companies started reproducing these so now every man and his dog has one who has $100K spare.
Give me a GT 390 over a fastback with a fibreglass body kit any day.

Predictable maybe but for me it would be a '77 Bandit edition Trans Am

Another for the bandit Trans-am.
Rob, never liked that version, looks nothing like the one in the one in the film, what is it with the lights?

Si, that Impala is lovely!
Just not "Finny" enough..
as for the Trans-am, I'd rather have the truck- any of you seen the american Top Gear episode with trucks? an old peterbuilt pulling 90+Mph..

I have to admit to my fave car being a black '77 Trans-Am (400 obviously) complete with the full gold decals and snowflakes with black interior, and I especially love the YearOne conversions like capri_rob posted up
They did three different 'levels' of conversion- go watch the documentary on YouTube, Burt Reynolds does the official opening ceremony
There are also loads of Yank motors that I'd love to own- pleeeenty of them, mostly 60/70's muscle cars but with some gorgeous finned cars also, and flat-beds, and hot-rods, the list goes on.
Who doesn't love a '32 Deuce Coupe, or a '32 three-windowed Ford, or a '49 Willys Coupe, or a '70 Challenger, or a '68 Charger, or a '71 Mach One, or a '62 Impala, or a '63 Lincoln Conti, or a '55 Chevy....
Shall I carry on?? Lee loves a Yank and recently Tom-Mav has come out of the woodwork confessing to a love of these also

Anyone see the antiques roadshow (I know, I know!) a few weeks ago where a girl had a cancelled cheque signed by George Harrison? He'd come in to buy an E-type I think, saw the Pantera and cancelled the cheque on the spot! What an awesome noise in that vid!!

Any Yank turd upside down in a ditch looks good, preferably smoking then setting on fire as the owner crawls out to call the fire brigade but realises his phone is in the car, thus it burns completely......my current Yank turd
