The plaques on the dash and rear bumper look like they've been bought fom Argos!
Thats a nightmare resto if ever I saw one. But agreed my man, interesting. Never heard of them before.

Very interesting. I vaguely remember the "Chasseur" name from back then - I think I have a mag feature in the loft on one of these turds somewhere. Will dig it out over christmas if I get chance.
I'd love a Jag but dont have the nerve to buy one

XJ40s really are a sorry dated looking scrapper. I am sure when it was new it must have went / drove well, for at least 5000 miles until it started leaking / over heating and bits started falling off

The top one is probably beyond saving. If the A-post is gone so is the C-post, sunroof tray, toe boards and probably most of the boot and sills. looks like it's had some horrific welding on the inner wing already.
Silver one is nice after the steering wheel is changed for an nice XJR number.
