Z1s would all be nice if seen (and priced) as an alternative body style on a 325i.

Which is what they are - in effect a factory kit car based on the 325i.

That is what I thought until I removed all the undertrays to replace the gear linkage and seals
Torque tube wrongness is blurring my views on what constitutes worn gear linkage and a nasty oil leak !

They are nothing like 325i E30 - same front suspension, engine and gearbox (albeit with different E36 style sump) but everything else is different/unique.
