Hi all,

This car is in Bristol

I have found no time or money to restore my once beloved E30…

2 years ago I was set to do a full restore but the money went elsewhere. I have had the car for 14years.

I took it to Bhanstormers last year to have all the rust investigated and the most important/detrimental repaired at a cost close to £1500 to do rear scuttle, some touch up on rear arch and inner arch intricate welding.

It has a recent oem recon steering rack.

Older replaced items list would be exhaustive but in summary, it does run sweeet, especially for an m40… it does have the slight tick but it’s the best m40 I’ve heard and some other e30 owners agreed when they’ve seen it.

107k miles (bought it at 43k)

Cam belt due (new BMW one in the boot).

MOT failed on:

Rust on floorpan under passenger and drivers side?
Wiper not working consistently.
Front indicator not working

I think that was it…apologies it’s taken me too long to get round to posting!

Corroded brake lines but that’s been a minor on the mot for many years…should be done.

I am selling for £2500

GLWS. What's happening with the Jag/Daimler XJ? Looks like it's been there for quite some time...

I’m not sure this is at a garage… I can enquire if you’re interested?

Cheers

Good enws for any potential guy is the wiper motor is a common problem and easy to fix. An indicator will be simple and the floor pan you can buy replacement panels for them. Good luck with the sale, well priced and I'm sure will make a great project for someone.

Hi all,

Yea I think it’s all easily managed for the buyer.

It’s been sold! Some guy enquired about it at the garage and offered £1700. I think it is worth more and the guy at the garage was supposed to negotiate but I don’t think he did…

Was a shame it didn’t go to a zoner as I’d like to see it reach it’s potential!
