E30 Zone

My engine in my 318 is blown. It's the m10 engine. I basically have three options, do a full rebuild on the m10, swap in an m20, or swap in an m52. The m10 is as bad as they say it is but if it's a lot easier and cheaper than I'll just stick with it. Which option should I go for? How much would an m20 swap cost? Thanksshowbox speed test

Welcome to the zone mate and can you expand on why you say it is "blown" please ?
I have never heard of a head gasket going on the M10 let alone one to be knackered but there`s always a first time for everything.
