now i know most will say put a bigger more powerfully motor in but i'm going to stick with the m10 unit.
so the plan is to get hold of another long block and rebuild it.
up the c/r a bit , bigger cam, port the head, 3 angle seats etc and put a pair of 40's on it.
what i'm looking for is any info on who does these parts and any info on tuning the m10 unit.
aiming for about 130bhp so as you can see i dont wnat massive power just enough to make it fun for the road rallies and autotests i do.

Best site for info is bmw2002faq

130bhp is easy for an 10, best tring to get a 2.0 bottom end, tunned 2.0l used in historic racing make about 220bhp.

lots of parts around for an idea check the us sites

I know someone with a 2.0l bottom end they might want to sell if you are interested.

slight change in plan as the road rallie regs will only let me run a single duel barrel carb so will prob go with a 38dgav, think it has a 32/36 on it now so i'll see what thats like. should still be able to get 130bhp with a single carb?
