BTB3.1 M20B25 exhaust manifold

I'm not sure if anyone is left on here who may be interested, but we found enough parts on a dusty shelf to put together a couple of our BTB3 manifolds.
We took the opportunity to make a couple of changes to improve them. The bends coming out of the head flange have been tightened to make fitting nuts on the studs a little easier.

We've also made a one piece X pipe press tool and added a hook so the lambda plug can be lockwired in place.

The bad news is that we only have 2 available and because they are made in the UK our costs have risen considerably since we last made them.
The price is £3480 inc VAT and UK mainland shipping. If there is no immediate demand on here one will be put on ebay in time for Christmas :)
They still definitely fit RHD cars with the E46 330ci quick ratio steering rack, not sure about Z3 racks, maybe that will require further mods (BTB3.5?)*
We're happy to discuss costs of shipping to other RHD territories.
*If anyone can lend us an M20 block, head and sump, with engine mounts, subframe and Z3 rack and column we are happy to mock it up to check clearance.
Thanks for all the positive comments about BTB on here over the years

i fitted a btb3 back in 2012/2013 or something like that and the z3 rack fit with basically zero clearance which means it didn't fit with sufficient clearance to prevent fouling when engine moved around while cornering.
This was with stock OE good engine mounts and spacers above the rack. i had to have one of the pipes crushed to give around 8-10mm (i recall) clearance and margin against future sag of the mount to the lower joint. i don't think it affects performance as the primary pipe is massive anyway but it left a lot to be desired for the price considering everyone says z3 are the same as e36/46 racks it was unexpected.

i remember when i bought my btb2 from Sal at evolve during a GB it was 650 but that was 2007

I was extremely fortunate enough to have picked up a almost new BTB3 recently for 1k. The fact of the matter is a high quality 6 branch manifold will be costly and with inflation etc. I'd not expect it to be less than 2.5 these days.

i don't see why it would cost that much they have a jig which significantly cuts time. That's what id expect for a one off custom job

Back in 2020, I paid £2k for a full stainless system with six branch custom made by Kevin at Zero Exhausts in Bethersden, Kent, that split to £1500 for the manifold, £500 for the rest., excellent workmanship

It was for my M30 b3.5 E30 Touring.
