E30 Zone

I got my car with this interior however it came with beige interior from the factory and I’m trying turn it to stock.

For sale is
Two front heated seats, never tested
Rear bench, has some imperfections
Horseshoe trim
Rear door cards
Front door cards , appear be from a coupe.

Ideally I would like to swap for a beige interior.
Front seats and rear bench £900
Rest £250
Open to sensible offers upon viewing

I don't want to be the voice of doom but if the heating elements are original and untested then I would personally assume they don't work. I see your car doesn't have the switches in place, does that mean it also doesn't have the loom? If the element wires are in place under the seats I'd be tempted to rig a test to see if they're good or not.

I have the buttons, loom and original elements and I have no heat. It's on the to do list.

This is going to far.....

You can clearly see that the seats and door trims do not much the carpet and front speakers as they are beige.

The other thing is that the interior is in very good condition and is very attractive with or with out the heated seats and is obvious that it would have to be checked.

I agree with everything you say! My point is if you check them yourself and they're good then you can sell them as working heated seats that just needs loom and switches, the easiest part of a retro-fit. Even if half of them work it will be more attractive to someone wanting to do this conversion as stripping the seat and replacing the element is a laborious, time consuming job. They look like a nice set of seats, just do a test and optimise their value.

And I agree with you, it’s just I have no clue how to check them....

From the ones I have I think it is just a case of putting power to them and see if your ass gets hot

Only if I had someone else interested in the rear seats at the same time

It's 2 pins for the base element and 2 for the back. Stick 12v on them and see what happens.

No such thing as a sport coupe but they are the same seats that may have been fitted to a sport saloon.

This is very fascinating
I did not know that sport saloons where fitted with tilting front seats.....

If they didn't have tilting front seats it would be very hard to get into the back seat.

I thought that saloon car has 4 doors

An E30 4 door saloon doesn't miraculously become a coupe when it's a 2 door. On that basis is my missus' 2 door Fiesta a coupe?

Fiesta is a hatchback ...
