Hi all, I've got this actuator spare, which is no use to me. I bought a full retrofit kit yeeeears ago from the USA, but it never worked, and it turns out the actuator is incompatible. I finally looked into it, and found out this part number is for cars up to 1987 only, and my car/the rest the retrofit kit is 1989.
I have stripped and fully tested this, and will provide a video of it working when activated manually (as soon as I can get access to my 12v power supply later this weekend). The solenoid actuates, and the motor will move the cable when the solenoid is engaged.
A throttle cable for an M20 is included (as photo'd), but it's missing a couple of bits near the end (the rubber boot, the retaining bar/bolt as per the main throttle cable), and has a slight nick to the bottom of the sleve (see photo). This cable was fitted to my replacement actuator when it arrived, and was used for testing and it does work despite the nick.
I'm just looking to recover my costs of the one I imported from the USA.
