Rob from Rawmotorsport will do the conversions,

But it depends on what your sourcing yourself, are you supplying a car, engine, box, manifolds etc

It's not hard to do it yourself, the labour charge for getting a specialist to do the job would be thousands.

Just to give an idea of parts prices of a diy conversion:

-my 540i 6 speed donor car was £1100
-£800 on suspension and brakes
-£50 on 2 flanges and y peices to help make my exhaust manifolds
-£600 on a custom stainless exhaust from the manifolds back
-£250 on e30 an lsd
-£110 on a mercedes radiator and cooling fan
-£10 on metal offcuts to make engine mounts ect
-£50 on balancing the driveshaft
-£100 on rev counter chip from the states
-£500 on custom hoses for brakes and steering lines

The above list is what was needed to get mine driving, then you can upgrade as you see fit.

Pete doesn't charge that much for the work above.
All he asks is that you spend some time in his basement with some "Werthers", and some pics. winkeye
