M60 > S62

When you can get this out of a stock bottom end M60 why do people want S62´s?

Thats a turbo M60 with stock bottom end but running E85 fuel.

In the UK some good old Meth injection or methanol fuel blending would yield the same results.

.. imagine the same with S62 ;)

lots of money, of course but lots of fun as well.. and you can swap one in new 1-series

The S62 would have broken by then, How many 800hp S62´s are there? less then 3 or 4 maybe?

What sort of setup is this then, stock bottem end what was done to the motor? any pics of the manifolds?

The cylinder walls are very thin and compression ratio very high, yes, so it requires lots of money :)
