Clutch position on a m60?

Has anyone changed a clutch on a m60? Any idea which way round the clutch plate goes?

It tells you in the paper work. I'll see if i can find mine as i cannot remember now.

Check the disc, it say ms for motor side / or FS for Flywheel side

It doesnt say on there kerrie? Does it matter?

Hi,
Yes it matters, I have just checked both a M5 clutch and a m60 3L clutch plate, One says motorseite which in english means motor side, The other says Getriebseite which means gearbox side, It must say something? post photos of it and I can advise you better

oh dear thats not good, iv now put the clutch and gearbox on the M60 and is now sitting in the engine bay.
does anyone have any pictures of a clutch? i know what way i put it round but i dont know if its the right way?

It´s a bit late, but if you drive the 5-speed gear box, you can mount the clutch only in one way.
This side is the engine side (Motorseite)
And because of this forming, it fits just in one way on the flywheel. That´s the gearbox side (Getriebeseite)
