Where does the small hose from the bottom left of the throttle body go???
Its connected to a black plastic tube then back to a hose?
Is it a vacum or summit
It goes down and under the inlet, the top can be seen in the centre of the picture.
Thanks Tom.

Something to do with the hydro brakes I think. That's the direction it heads off in but I can't remember what I pulled it off when I took the car apart. But I have been wondering myself.

I had the same trouble trying to remember where that went. I ended up just blocking it off with a rubber cap, engine all works fine so I'm assuming you don't need it. Unless your fitting the hydro brakes.

V8 E32 / E34 do not have hydro brakes...
The hose is either for the brake booster or for the thingies that try to control fuel tank / intake manifold breathing. Anyways, just get rid of it (as long as you've vacuum for brake booster if you have one) and block the outputs on the intake manifold.

My E34 V8 definitely had hydroboost.

Do the models with steering on the "wrong side" (right) have hydroboost for brakes? I've disassembled four V8 E32 / E34:s and all of them had remote brake servo..

They could do, I'm not sure. I remember speaking to someone who had to source a remote servo from Europe for his conversion.
