Hi i have managed to get the engine to start, but it only runs for a bit,
Have i missed a connection on the X20 wiring?
I have searched through the wiring diagram and am beginning to feel lost
Its a 540 manual from 94.
If start it with the throttle open its fine, is there a choke of sorts?
TIA
Tom.

Do you have all your vacume pipes connected? I was trying to run mine the other day after disconneting the brake servo vacume and couldn't work out why it wouldn't tick over. It did run like that but only if I kept revving it.
Other thing is fuel. I spent a while trying to get mine to start then realised I'd done about £15 worth of petrol just having it tickover in the garage!!!! Doh!!!!

It was a vaccum leak! a pipe i missed which a mate found, it sounds the bees, now to make the neighbours happier and make an exhaust
