E30 Zone

This may be a daft question but i've been on the look out for E34 & E32 4.0 but i have been offered a E38 4.0. Is this going to be a pain in the arse or can i get a 530 and fit the loom and box on to the E38 lump? All helps greatly appreciated

Just buy the E38 4.0 engine and swap B30 loom and knock sensors to it in order to make it work properly.

The gearboxes and flywheels are also interchangable, though clutches are different on 5- and 6-speed 'boxes.
