Auto vs Manual car DME

Is there a difference between a DME from an auto or manual car? RealOEM is showing that they are identical part numbers. Will a DME from an auto car work with a manual loom?

They are the same boxes though the chip is different in auto and manual boxes.. Both might work, never tried the auto-one
