Ummm.. M60B40 or M62B44? :)

Anyway, if you're using 6-speed 'box you can use M60B40 clutch/flywheel or M62B44 clutch/flywheel. However, these two can't be mixed as they've different size clutch discs.

Ahhaa caught me out.... M60b40 is the one i have.
Im looking for a lightened flywheel and clutch setup but can't find one anywhere. It's like looking for prince Williams hair piece.

I'm also struggling getting the auto torque converter and flywheel of the m60 as well if you have info on that too îa–

Thanks
Ben

customer service is stereotypical British engineering company style

To get the torque converter off you need to look under the engine, you will see a big rubber plug or a hole looking through to the flywheel if the plug is already missing. There are 4 bolts on the back of the flywheel that hold the torque converter to the flywheel. Rotating the torque converter will allow you to align the bolts with the hole so that you can undo them with a socket. Once you have all 4 off, the torque converter will almost fall off so be careful. That will give you access to the 9 bolts that hold the flywheel on.

I was told to do it while the gearbox was still attached, but only after I had already removed the gearbox.
