Lambda/O2 sensors

I have fitted the s50b30 into my e30 and it now turns over, I'm just waiting for my manifolds to arrive which I have had modified to clear the linkage.
I've managed to acquire a full stainless 325i system which I intend to use for the time being until I can afford to have a full system made.

My question is where should I place the 02 sensors ?

On a standard m3 3.0 there in between the manifold and the cat where as the 3.2 has them on the manifolds them selves.

Where have you guys fitted them ?

Cheers in advance [/code]

Yup, although they were the same for the 3.2 as well.

Brilliant stuff.

I couldn't see why the sensors were in such differant places from the 3.0 to the 3.2

How much did you pay for your manifold to be modified to fit the e30? Looks like someone's done a good job is it something they could knock up again or just a 1 off?

They were done by BTB as part of a group buy (back in 2006/2007 iirc). They were spot on and still made proper power on the S50, but they weren't cheap!!! 8O
They won't do one-offs, I believe they needed a minimum of 5 orders (possibly 10) before they'll set up to make them - tbh, I don't know if they'll still do them.

I do know the guy who 'commissioned' the Predator manifolds and exhaust system which is the next best thing... drop me a PM if you want to know more.
