most of that is S50 stock manifold. BMW didn't skimp for a change.

All of it is, 4 & 5 have become 5 & 6 and as you can see 4 is made up from another 5 and bits of the old 6 the very slight reshaping of the collector was to clear the ARB.

you haven't got some bit's left by any chance? I would like to "turn" my No6 round.

Have you done it yourself?

As you can see No4 has a couple of sleeves, I got a bit of stainless tubing and cut those sleeves off it and made up the shape from bits I got of Ian, to get it right I had a piece of metal drilled to match the stud pattern on the head then I was able to bolt the manifold to it so that when I was pissing about with No4 everything else was solid. The collector box for 123 I cut and filed to get the shape I wanted and believe it or not I held them together with cable ties and took it along to the guy who welded it. If only I could weld like that. I have some bits in the shed, I'll look tomorrow but I don't think there's anywhere near enough to do another pipe. I'll let you know one way or the other.

cheers boss.
I only need one pipe with the flange. The rest will be doable more or less. Just want the No6 to point in the same direction as No5. And having LHD helps a lot. I don't need to make any changes to 1-2-3

no rush, please take your time. I won't round working with the manifold soon anyway.
Engine mounts need to be done first.
