Sometimes it feels like the engine stops running

If I'm driving on the third gear, slowly increasing the speed by constantly pressing down the gas pedal 20%. When the engine runs up to approx 2 000 RPM it will stop accelerating and it feels like I let the gas go. If I in this moment press the gas pedal down the car will start accelerating like normal.
Also, sometimes when I'm driving and I want to switch (for example) from gear 4 to 5. Lets say I'm driving at 3 000 RPM and as I press the clutch the engine accelerates to 3 100 RPM before the RPM meter starts to sink. This is extremely annoying and does happen sometimes. No, I'm NOT pressing the clutch before I have released the gas pedal.
