E30 Zone

Been offered an M42 engine to replace the M40. The M42 is from a 1995 E36 that had EWS it comes with loom and ECU. But no key or other EWS bits. Will this be a problem?

Either get the ecu flashed to remove the ews or probably easier and cheaper to just get an e30 m42 loom and ecu to use on it.

Will an EWS delete chip have the same result?

Pm Danthe he can flash the ecu to remove it.
