i am wanting to turbo my m42 is, i need some advice and direction on some things.

what type of turbo should i get for a start? i work at a breakers so i can get a second hand turbo of somthing and adapt it to fit but most of what we have turbo wise are diesels?? will a diesel turbo work? we have a couple of 330 d turbos which look nice!

next problem would be a management system?? the car is going to be in daily use so i want somthing with a bit of poke but not hurt my pocket to much!!

i am going to be getting it running on itbs and having 3.2 m3 pistons put in to make a 2.0 stroker. but i need help on where to get a management system and advice on a turbo if anyone can help please.

Why the ITBs with a turbo?

This project if completed will most certainly hurt your pocket just so you know. Few thousands at the very least .

The most expensive thing I need to get is the management system cuz I'm gettin the itb's plenum turbo and pistons cheap and fellow zoner driftnethin prepares cars for rally stages so he is helping me with the build, I just need to know what management system will be best??

The best will only be based on how much you are willing to spend on a system.

So how much are you willing to spend? What do you actually need in terms of controlability and features?

im hoping between £200 -£400 on the management system, what would that buy me?

i want one that can be re-mapped easily as with the build i want to do im going to start with just the itb to begin with and do the rest in time but need to be able to adjust the manangement!!

Thats not really going to buy much unless you build it yourself, like a megasquirt.
