E30 Zone

This is a common one, there is a connector outside the loom wrap that controls where the ECU gets it's warm start information from (TPS or O2 sensor I think).
I have an e36 engine with loom and lambda however I wasn't aware of this when I swapped it so I have removed the connector and joined the wire together somewhere in the loom and rewrapped it. Does anyone (Brianmooore!:)) know what colour this sucker is and where it connects to as the hot start arsing about is just damn embarrassing!

I actually do have a lambda sensor so I think this wire should actually be connected, would this suggest the sensor is fooked? I think I also wired up the diagnostic plug for this so it should show up? and if I do cut it then the ECU will use the TPS instead?

could also be FPR or the leaky manifold confusing the O2 sensor, start with manifold and go from there

Manifold replaced, better but still messing about. Going to go with the O2 sensor is probably daffied, going to find the wire and cut it, no cat, no problem!

wire cut (I think I got the right one) no change.. bugger..

I shouldn't ever be a bomb tech - cut the right wire this time all is well now. It's pin3 on the AFM plug.

I wonder what the other wire was, didn't seem to affect the car at all lol..
