Flywheel ID and which clutch?

Can anyone confirm that this is a single mass flywheel?

I had always assumed that it was because it came off my m40! And the only reason I question it is that the flywheel attached to my new M42 engine is identical.

Assuming it is single mass, I should buy a clutch kit for an M40, right?
But what clutch do you buy for an m42 with a OE single mass flywheel. M40?

Dammit I didn't take a pic of my M42 with dualmass on it..

What did the engine come from? My understanding was that only the e36 M42 with aircon/climate had the dualmass. If it's an e36 engine make sure to check the spigot bearing size! :)

Clutch should be the same for both M40 and M42, I used the M40 one on my M42 after swapping the flywheel over.

Looks like a single to me. Taking the clutch off will soon tell you.

Hmm that's the same as my m42 flywheel, I always thought it was a duel mass as it looks twice the weight of a normal flywheel!
What makes a duel mass flywheel a duel mass??
