Which loom/ecu are you using?

I just transplanted my M42 and finally got it working. Have a read of this thread:

You might find something that applies to your problem. I went through just about everything trying to work out why it wouldn't start. It turned out to be the injectors.

^^ The injectors are probably nothing to do with your problem and swapping them will not solve anything. If you can't get the fuel pump to work, I'd start looking for a solution to that first.

Check fuses and relays. When you say you can't get the fuel pump to work, what have you tried to establish this?

If your using the e30 loom is the black with green trace attached to the started motor?
I had trouble as this was connected to the wrong side of the starter motor its a positive feed.
