Stumbled across this picture

Got me thinking if it would be worth doing?

My mate runs bike carbs on his F7R swapped Volvo and that thing goes like a little rocket.

What would be involved in fitting bike carbs to an Injection M40 or M42?

As far as I know you'd need:
Bike carbs (GSXR, R6, R1, Fireblade)
Some sort of custom inlet made up
modified throttle cable
low power fuel pump or a fuel pressure regulator
Drilled or larger jets

The part I think would be tricky is getting a spark to it?

Just something to think about I guess :D

I did this on a 106, Very good cheap upgrade. Sparks already there, you leave that alone. Just remove the injection system and add the carbs.

Oh ok I was under the impression you needed a distributor to retard the timing etc.. How much power did you gain and how much worse on fuel was it?

You can, but you could also get a chip made, someone on here does them I'm sure he can make custom ones. Power gain was good for what it cost, the noise was the best part! Fuel was awful, but thats somthing you have to live with.
