E28 M5 engine mounts

Hi,
How important is it to use specifically the M5 mounts? I see some have used the normal E28 mounts so want to know what route I should take.
I understand the M5 right side mount is different, but not sure what impact this has on the M52 going in an E30?
Assuming two normal mounts is ok, will these do the job?

Did you have any luck getting to the bottom this? I'm thinking of using the E28 (non-m5) mounts as well and would like to know if they work without using any spacers.
I thought it was the hexagonal mount needed for both sides rather than the round one you have provided a link to.

i used the e28 m5 mounts never did find out which one was the right one round or hex
so i got the round ones from memory there 72mm round
so i brought a short length of pipe 73mm and sleeved them over the mounts to make them a bit more rigid
my sump is the lowest part of the car and despite being -40mm dont have any problems hitting the sump even going over speed humps at a decent rate of knots

Those Meyle mounts are ok, not the best quality but will work fine, I prefer Febi branded mounts

Do you know if the non-M5 E28 hexagonal ones work Dan? I've already bought a pair so don't want to have to replace them now!
I'm almost there with removing the engine so manifolds should be coming your way soon. Just been a bit slower than expected as I'm breaking the car at the same time and getting loads of time wasters. Getting bored of removing parts for buyers that either change their mind or don't show up.

I used those green hex mounts on my first M50 conversion in 2004, they fell apart after about 50k miles
