Im just finishing my M52b28 conversion and im having an odd issue with the clutch pedal, the clutch engages and disengages as it should however when the clutch pedal is pressed to the floor you can hear a grinding noise, almost as if the rod is pushing to far out making it come into contact somehow? any ideas would be appreciated.
Setup is...
E36 328 box and slave
M20 lightened flywheel
E30 325 clutch and pressure plate
E30 325 bearing

Oddly enough mine does the same...!
Have you lengthened the clutch fork at all? If read quite a few people weld 5mm onto it to make up for not using an e21 release bearing! I can only assume that I've welded on a couple mm too much and it's causing this issue.
I'm just gonna knock up a clutch spacer similar to the throttle pedal one to stop the pedal just shy of full pedal.

its strange because i hadnt seen anything to make me think id even need to consider this to be a potential problem! i was considering a clutch stop myself but wondered if there was any sort of adjustment in the pedal travel possible.

Id never come across it before either. And literally finished my build this week too!!
I had to replace my master cylinder this week, I don't think there's any adjustment in the pedal tbh. A stop is probably easiest - there is a little one there with aplastic disc in it. I think I'll just drill that hole out a bit and put a nut and bolt jobby in
