6spd gearbox

I've been offered a 3.15 lsd, just wondering if this is any use with a 6spd box?

If so, whats involved in going fro ma m42 box to a 6spd box?

What parts that I have for my m52 + m42box do I need to change if I got a 6spd box and which box to use?

I remember reading/hearing with a 6spd box that 1-5 ratios are much the same as with the m42 box but that the 6th gear is an over drive. Ideally looking to have low enough motorway cruising revs but not sacrifice to much in the 1-5 gears. Also what rev would I be at between gears vs the m42 box + 3.64diff

That will work fine with an E36 M3 box.
5th on that would be the same as on mine with a longer 6th. Think I am geared to about 150mph at 7k in 5th, cruze at 70 around 2500-2700ish.
3.15 + E36 M3 box is pretty much the same gearing as a Z3M but with a 6th gear.

I have a 3.07 on my 6 speeder and 6th is a overdrive, will cruise at 60 ok but happier a 70+ with the 6speeders lower 1-3 gears it's like a 5 speed with a 6th rather than a 6 speed with 6 if you get what I mean, would guess 3.15 would be perfect. :D

whats involved though in going to 6spd? Besides the box I think I need a modified prop combining an m3 with a e30 prob shaft? And will the box be at a funny angle like with a m20 box?
