Hi Guys
Can anyone point me in the right direction here,

fitting a m50b28 motor to my touring using the original touring gearbox
using e28 engine mounts but its impossible to get the gearbox mounts to sit anywhere near correctly.

Taken some pictures
Any advice would be great
Thanks

Copy the img code on the right to display pictures in the thread. m5x's sit at a 10 degrees different angle to a m20. When using an m20 gearbox you must cut up and modify your gearbox crossmember along with modifying the selector rod

I can take a picture of mine tomorrow if you fancy? It's just a bit of box section welded to the cross member to raise it up

on the same sort of question on the engine mounts are you meant to put the metal surround(sorta protector) back in with the mounts?

Andy sorry mate not sure which "protectors" you mean.

I took all the alloy heat sheilds out of the engine bay yet to get them back into place.
