The trans is about an 1" shorter than both the E36 G250 and the E30 M42/G240.....So which driveshaft do you guys use??

I wanna keep my m40/g240 b/c the shift feel is an excellent mix of notchiness and throw. I also resealed it, new slave cylinder, Redline ATF, new Guibo, etc.

Oh, and I don't want to find a new diff, my 4.10 was just refreshed with new seals, cover, and bushing.

Thanks

I am also curious about this... can a 318i propshaft be use with the m40 box, or do you need to use the 320i propshaft?
