Creative brake booster options

I'm looking to do something besides the traditional route of a smaller booster. The Massivebrakes boosterless kit is great for left hander cars but for a right hand drive car I don't think it would work as we can't adjust the pickup point between the linkage and the master cylinder. Was looking at the possibility of using this boosterless setup

Not sure if the mounting kit would fit our cars, either though. I suppose I could just make my own mountings for the Wilwood setup if not, though. Anyone else have a suggestion? Just trying to look into options, not interested in a hydroboost setup.

Not recomended unless it's track/rally only.
Why do you want to delete the servo?

Clearance for the inlet manifold of the m5x engine i would think.

Although that's not the type of solution I'm looking to have thrown around it's great info to have. Parts for RHD cars aren't available used here, and I was just wanting to start a dialogue on different options. Personally I like the idea of the Wilwood pedals and master cylinders for a clean engine bay and a simpler system overall. The only drawback would be the relatively high cost and the fab work for the mounting kit.

And it is a terrible solution for a road car. Have a search for threads on here about the topic. I almost went for a peddle box for my car but was put off after advice on here/other research. This was the one I had bought, made by someone local. It's a modified rhd e30 pedal cage, m/c's bolt to the box section and face the driver:

I have no servo and two master cylinders/a bias bar where the servo used to be.
This is on an S50 rally car and not ideal for a road car though

That's what I keep hearing in this thread but what exactly about it is so uncivilized for road driving? Increased pedal effort? Since it's coming from someone with experience I'll take your word for it, but I would think that with a proper sized master cylinder and a correct pedal ratio/pivot point there wouldn't be tremendously increased effort. Perhaps I'm wrong about that, though.

Stamping on the pedal to stop is fine when you are driving like a posessed maniac on drugs on a rally stage but when you are pulling out of asda and some child steps out into the road while you are thinking about the milk you forgot to buy, it's not an ideal situation to be in at the best of times let alone in a car with brakes like this !
Dont get me wrong, its possible and you could deal with or get used to it, but its not the best solution when you can just fit a clio servo

try rolling down a road with your engine off, pump the brakes a little to empty the servo and then try an emergency stop.
I completely understand what you are saying however and used to wonder the same thing myself dont get me wrong

.
maybe master cyl sizing etc could help like you say ? Not something I have looked into or tried.

I've contacted the guy who makes those mounting kits for Wilwood/Tilton before and they are designed for LHD cars. He seemed receptive to working with someone for a RHD solution though given how popular it would be here.

Theres allways the hydraulic setup from a 7 series i think it runs from pas pump . But youd still be better off buying a clio servo from here or uk ebay and shipping to canada if they dont have the over there
