doing the head gasket on a m52 24v..

anyone know how? or if there is a thread?
there are no threads as far as I am aware.
Before you contemplate it though, do you know if the engine has been cooked? If it has, you are playing roulette as to whether the threads for the head bolts in the block will strip when you tighten it back down.
