The vacuum side yes, but not the oil drain side

it wouldnt work even if you wanted to do it that way. oil doesnt drain upwards 
bearing in mind ive not tested mine yet as the lump is still sitting the garage floor, the easiest way i found was to just put a tee into the m50 dipstick.
