m50 wires again

just found a list for m50 wiring and it says that numbers 1,2 and 3 have pins in them but mine doesnt have any.everything else is ok.it was from an 91 e36 any one know why it doesnt have any and will i need to make some up?

If you're referring to the M50 plug pin numbers, then 1 and 2 are for the oil level 'check' sender, and 3 is the power feed to the ABS system.
If your recipient car doesn't have a 'check' panel by the rear view mirror, or ABS, then the answer is no.

sorry, yes i do mean the m50 plug pin numbers and no i dont have a check panel but do have abs which i wasnt too sure if it worked until the other day when a tranny van came hurtling towards me going the wrong way on a one way street!
so i assume that i`ve got to work out how to wire up the abs.

wires scare the shit outa me

The ABS feed is simple to add, if you need it.
First check pin 20 on the engine socket (C101) of your recipient E30. If it has a red/yellow wire connected to pin 20, then you need to add a wire from pin 87A of the engine loom's DME relay (the five pin one) to pin 20 of the plug you're going to be grafting on to it.

I`m about to wire the ABS wire to the DME relay.
You say pin 87A,on my relay it shows two 87 but no a.
Which one do i connect it to?

87a is the middle one, but it doesn't matter which you use.
