Hello just a quick one

I've Been looking at flywheel options for a m50 turbo I am building and originally came down to the m20 flywheel so I bought one . I then came to fit my clutch to the flywheel and it doesn't fit , the company have sent me one that fits e36 323 and 325 so instead of send it back to the US I'm going to try and get hold of a lightened flywheel for the m50 . Are m50/52 and s50 flywheels the same ?

Thanks

no. early m50 flywheels are single mass and the later ones are dual mass. all m52's have a dual mass. the s50 has a dual mass but its bigger than the m52 one
M40 rightness if you can get to 6000rpm noone can hear your tappets
