has anyone got any personal experiance of these mounts or this company?

https://www.revshift.com/shop/motor-mou ... mounts.php

total would be £102 including postage which i can live with, but are there any UK companies who do a similar product?

cheers

That seems pretty cheap to me.

I couldn't find anyone in the UK for my S50 conversion and had to buy these. The product was 1st class but quite expensive.

Just be careful you don't get them held at customs like I did because IIRC it cost me about an extra £60 in customs charges.

Although a little bit more I can totally recommend the AKG ones.

I think it was about 2weeks IIRC.

I originally used the E34 M5 mounts which were fine for road use but compressed on track allowing the steering column UJ to foul on the BTB manifold.

Just a thought?

thats not too bad i might go for those, dont mind paying a bit extra on the strength of a good recommendation.

this is a track car so wont see the roads which is why im after something track spec as such

By the way.... The ones I had were the polyurethane ones - not the aluminium ones.

Motor Mount Set - U.S. Military Spec Polyurethane 70A (Factory Group N hardness)
For use when installing/swapping a BMW e36 S50 or M50 motor into an e30 chassis

#MM5030
Price: $200.00

My car was track only but I did drive it to and from on the road.

Checkout my thread in parts for sale if you need any other track bits.

e.g Leda Coilovers, Fibreglass Bonnet, Wets, Strut Brace etc.
