Cylinder heads....

Can someone give me a definite answer to what bare cylinder head will fit on an M50 2.5 block,

I'm replacing the head on my non-vanos engine,
and have been told that a vanos cylinder head
will bolt straight up, if i put in my cams, cam gear, front plate, cover etc

but then i was told that it wouldnt work.


someone else told me the 323i head would fit,
then someone told me it wouldnt



can someone put things straight here

They'll physically fit - they all have the same casting and share the same head gasket. Can't help you with the specifics though.

A M52 will not fit.

Either a M50B25 non vanos or M50B25TU (vanos) would be the right one.
