E30 Zone

Hi All,

Could someone please help clarify if I can still run an AC compressor/system with a M30B35 swap into an 316i? It's hot as hell here in Sri Lanka, so AC will be a must.

From what I have gathered, space is very tight so the recommendation is to ditch it, but I would rather not go down that route.

I am hoping to use the e28 535i radiator/electric fan combo with the garagistic mounts at position 3, along with the AC compressor/system that came from the 316i

Hello Kula, you definitely must have air con in Sri Lanka, did some digging for you and found this forum with some answers for you, has recommendations for engine mounts as well, cheers.
