E30 Zone

hi guys. im in the process of my m30 swap int0 a series 2 coupe using a 265 box from a e28 m535i. im just trying to figure out what shifter parts i need to make things work. id rather not cut and weld parts. ive read the e30 m3 shifter bracket can transform the older type sheet metal shifter to the aluminium newer type m20 but is this the only part i need? cheers[/b][/i]

I used a m20b20 locating rod which put the gear stick exactly in the right place, but I am in position 2 on the engine mounts, if your in position 3 then the m20b25 rod will most likely be the one to use. As for the gear stick it self, I used the 1.9 z3 item.
