1st on the breather pipe out of the rocker cover mines been bodged and a vacuum hose connected to it that then goes to the bottom of the inlet . Is this right and someones bodged the pipe ?
2nd on my brake servo pipe it have a white valve thing that also has a vacuum connector but cant find any loose vac hoses to connect to it
Any help much appreciated

Does your rocker cover pipe look like this one? That's how it should be:
I can't remember 100%, but I don't think you need any of the smaller pipes on the vacuum valve, just the main large one for the servo

The new hoses/pipes were pretty cheap from BMW when I built mine up, might be worth a call to your local dealer or Cotswold on here
All the best with your conversion

You don't need it, as above, BUT you must leave the pipe to the back of the car open, and must blank off the one to the inlet manifold. The solenoid valve isn't required either, but removing it will cause a fault code to be logged by the ECU. If you don't want this, either just tuck the valve away somewhere, leaving it connected electrically, or a resistor can be connected in place of it.

right chaps struggling with wiring on this , firstly mines the early square block connector so not a straight forward swop ive got the diagrams but cant figure out where all the diff wires should go , has anyone got a actual pic of this wiring swop ???
second my coil wiring on the e34 loom it has 4 wires the go towards the coil now ive tried every combination possible and still no spark the weird thing is one of the terminals is smaller which logic seems that that is the earth as the earth terminal is smaller but I have no feeds to it and if I connect a live feed to the coil and this wire it just goes to a live and obviously no spark
any ideas anyone or has anyone got pics of the coil wiring
cheers again mick

Can you get a pic up of your coil wiring? From memory there is 2 wires going to the coil, one with the eyelet bigger than the other, and a couple of earth wires on the same bunch of wires.
Can't help with the early square block connector sorry, is that instead of the round c101 connector?

Ye that sounds right . The one with the smaller eyelet is ment to be the earth but there is no feeds dpwn it what so ever . Where does it get its earth from this wire

If you want wires identified, then you have to accurately state their colours.

Plain green is switched ignition live, and plain blue is the battery warning light. Not sure what you mean by "E34 C101" since the C101 is only found on an E30, but the colours should be the same on both looms.

This matches my square C101 for my 1985 325e. How can I get the wire gauges? Rats chewed through one end and I need to redo the molex connectors.

You mean the size of the wires?
Only the green, black/yellow and green/purple carry any significant current, so 1.5mm2 min. for them and smaller stuff of choice for the others.
Don't forget that you have a second engine loom plug (C104?) behind the instrument cluster/above the ECU for the engine and road speed signals.
