wiring guides

Right im just about to put my m30b35 engine in and hit a problem .the engines out of a 92 5 series so has the c101 loom on it . My cars a 1984 so has the early loom with the square body connector . Obvs not just a simple fix as the guide . So has anyone tackle this or is there a guide about so I can wire my old loom to the new one

Jim your a star that guide has everything you could ever want no about the m30 thanks alot buddy top bloke

I've had a problem with my m30 conversion and had to swap out my existing fuse box and loom for another but the c101 plug is different with 14 wires in one and 15 in the other plus they have different screw connections one is a triangle and the other is square. Can someone pm me a walk through on c101's and what needs to be rewired etc?

Hi mate do you still have the wiring diagram. I'm in middle of a m30b35 swap on my e30 touring and having bother with the wiring side.
