E30 Zone

Hello,

I have a m30 3.5 which apparently has a lower comp bottom end which is got from jim on here.

I am in the process of turbo conversion and having a turbo manifold built,

the question is does anyone know if I need to use a cometic head gasket, I plan to use ARP bolts but wasn't sure on the compression factor.

anyone help?

If you only plan on running .6 - .9 then you will be fine. If you want to wind the boost up properly then a copper head gasket will be better in the long term.

How is your E30M30 turbo setup progressing? I'm really interested to see how you have done it, as I'm about to start a build myself, but i'm no mech and resources are limited here in Perth Au. Looking forward to hearing from you mate.
