E30 Zone

I'm slowly but surely turning my E28 engine into an E34 one piece by piece... I'm using a complete 1986 E28 m535i engine but with E34 motronic loom 1.3, afm, crank sensor, crank wheel etc. I've still not got an exhaust on it but it's obvious the car isn't running right, I've got to the stage where I doubting the injectors are the right type. It's extremely smokey and smells rich.

Does anyone know if the E28 injectors should work with the m1.3 setup?

Just to add it doesn't run smoothly at all...

I answered my own question, I looked up the injector part number from my E28 engine and they are 0 280 150 714, as fitted to E34 535i also. So thats not the reason my car is running like a bag of shit!
