E28 Oil Filter Housing

Does the downwards pointing oil filter housing fit with Lee's engine mounts and the E34 sump?

should be ok Rob, clearance with the alternator looks the tightest

yes but it shows the clearance to the engine mount for Rob

The e28 one is a different shape mate, it points downwards rather than upwards like our e34 ones. I've got one in the shed to put on mine at a later date as it has take-offs for an oil cooler on it

The one I currently have fitted has the oil filter take offs but I have no oil cooler! I have another old style downwards housing so I'll just give that a go. Thanks for the advice.
