I understand that it was a HARTGE lump but have no proof of that......... It does however go like stink !!! Had a new clutch kit just before i bought it..... I have done a couple of track days in it, it will come with 2 ecu's 1 standard and 1 wild bought of speedtouch, has a modified 6 branch....... I have a garage and have spent alot of time getting this running just so....... new IAC, TPS etc sounds fantastic, no rattles, oil leaks, tappets all spot on etc...... all the intake has been checked under pressure with smoke machine........ Anyone interested please PM me........ More than welcome to come round and have a look/sniff  ....... It's all T&T so you can really check it's what you want...... I will sell engine and box, ECU's, engine mounts, and pretty much everything else that you need to convert yours over....... Please dont make stupid offers, I won't reply and really can't be bothered ........as I say, you are more than welcome to come around have look see, chat and some backend action !!! ( that's backend not backdoor !!! :D !!) all the best Gus PS: Not really into splitting........... Id try and find out if its a genuine Hartge lump, would be worth a lot more than your normal run of the mill M30, iirc there 240hp.
Does it have the Hartge rocker cover and is the 6 branch the Hartge one?

no it doesn't have the hartge rocker....... not sure what the manifold is.......... apparently it was put together by someone called Joe in the west country .........Avers racers or something or other.......... I did track him down and rang him and he did say it was reputed to be a hartge lump ........ the bloke he was building it for ran out of money ........ as I said I can't prove it and someone who really knows what they are on about may be able to prove one way or the other ......... To be honest ........ I really can't be arsed !!! and am happy to sell as a normal one.......... If some one wants to come and check it out and make me an offer for the lot ......all well and good......... if not .....i'll stick it in something else

Why not put this in the For Sale Section with a price YOU want for it.
This way, people won't waste their time , or yours.

if it's a Hartge M30 it should be pushing 260 horses in fine fettle ?
tell tale sign is the Hartge stamp on the head it should read H6 or H5'S and the casting numbers followed by a hartge stamp,

it will need the proper Hartge matched ECU to run right and not some generic chip :?

Not sure how many horses are in there ......... quite a few....... I am not trying to be misleading here...........i am happy to sell as a box standard 3.5........... if any one is interested.....which it appears they are ......they can come and have a look, hear it etc , i will take them out in it and it will go sideways in 1st 2nd and 3rd has kept up with EVO's Caterhams etc ........ I really don't need the money but this engine is to good not to into another E30......... the guy I bought it of in Devon said it was out of a H5 ....i can't prove that and it may well not be so I as said earlier.....am happy to sell as a box standard 3.5 ( and related conversion bits )or 1.6 if you want !! ....... the best thing for any interested parties is to come and have a look....... see ya Gus
